About this tour

This one’s got everything — beach time, snorkelling, AND a submarine. Like, how are we getting all that in one day? No idea. But somehow Funny Picnic pulls it off.

So, the trip runs from 9am till 4pm, and it’s not just your usual chill island day. We’re talking 3 whole hours at Paradise Island, which is hands down one of the dreamiest spots near Hurghada. White sand, clear water, proper tropical vibes — like you’ve been dropped into a travel magazine, but better ‘cause it’s real and you’re in it.

Now here’s where it gets exciting — you actually get on a submarine. Not one of those glass-bottom boats. Like, an actual submarine. 45 minutes cruising under the surface, eye-level with coral reefs and proper Red Sea marine life — all without even getting your hair wet. It’s surreal. Like watching Blue Planet, but you’re in the frame.

After that, you do a stop for snorkelling — about 45 minutes — so if you’re keen to get in the water, this is your chance. The reef’s gorgeous in that area. Loads of colours, loads of fish, and really clear visibility, even for beginners.

And then there’s the chill part. We head back to Paradise Island for lunch — yes, on the actual island — proper buffet-style, fresh food with soft drinks, shaded tables, and a view that makes everything taste better. Water games are included too if you fancy being a bit extra before stretching out on the sand for a post-lunch nap.

They sort hotel pickup and drop-off in Hurghada, and if you’re staying in Sahl Hasheesh or Makadi, it’s just an extra €5, or €10 if you’re coming from Safaga or El Gouna. Kids under 3? Free. Ages 3 to 10? Half price. So if you’re thinking of bringing little ones, it’s super worth it.

The whole day is usually €45, but right now it’s down to €40, and for everything you get, that’s kind of a steal.

If you’re after a mix of sea, sun, and something a bit different — this tour’s such a vibe. Proper balance of relaxing and exciting, without the chaos of big group trips. Just sea breeze, good food, and that wild feeling of being underwater without even swimming.
