If you’re already a diver or have your licence and you’re just itching to get back underwater — this Diving Professional Trip’s for you. It’s not an intro course, this is the real dive experience. Proper full kit. Proper sites. Proper bottom time. And Funny Picnic totally gets it — they don’t mess about.

The day kicks off at 9 in the morning (civilised, not brutal), and you’ll be out till 4, so a full day but not one of those that leaves you wrecked. The dives are up in the north of Hurghada, which if you know, you know — the visibility there is mad. Clear blue for days and reefs that just go off. You get two diving stops, around 45 minutes each. Which means actual time underwater. You’re not suiting up just to dip down and wave at a fish or two. You get to explore properly.

And the crew? Super chill, all pros, but not in that snobby “we’re technical divers” way. They’re warm, welcoming, and they actually make you feel like you belong down there. Which you do.

When you’re not diving, you’re either stuffing your face (the onboard lunch is solid) or stretched out enjoying the sun and a cold drink. Soft drinks are on tap, and the boat’s comfy. Clean, spacious, shaded — the whole deal.

They’ll sort transfers from your hotel in Hurghada, that’s all included. If you’re staying in Makadi or Sahl Hasheesh, it’s just 5 euros extra. El Gouna or Safaga is a tenner, but honestly still worth it for a full diving day like this. Oh and if you’re bringing little ones along (even though this is more of a “me time” kinda day), kids under 5 go free, and from 5 to 10 it’s half price.

Price? It’s now 40 euros instead of 45, which for two full dives, all your gear, transport and lunch… you can’t beat that. Not in Hurghada. Not anywhere decent anyway.

So yeah — if you’ve got your PADI and wanna do some actual diving without the drama, book this with Funny Picnic. They know what they’re doing and they actually make it fun. No pressure, no crowds, just a cracking day under the sea.
